Star Wars Weekend at LegoLand California

OK, so it's been almost a month since Star Wars Weekend at Legoland California but I've been a little busy. But I did want to post so pictures from the day. It was again a fun event with Star Wars characters roaming around.


Yoda is my favorite, his "friend" did a great job with him.

There were also many displays from the different movies, they were well done, here are just a couple of my favorites.

And of course, I got my comperative brick, which is the most important thing! I need to take a picture of my wall. It keeps growing. I just wish Legoland would offer a "club" for passholders so they could get the bricks mailed to them if they're unable to go to the park. Leaving in LA makes it hard sometimes to get down there.

Mark and I leave for vacation in San Diego on Friday, hopefully I'll be able to post a few pictures along the way.

Tomorrow starts soccer, which will hopefully be a lot of fun for him as well.  It will be fun for taking pictures!!

Legoland and the New Aquarium

On Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, Mark and I visited Carlsbad and Legoland.  We also took the $9 tour of their aquarium, which was cute.  I need to find out if I just paid the extra $20 we could upgrade our passes and still keep the monthly... 

The park was really busy so we didn't do as much as we normally do, but then we'll be back on the 14th for Star Wars Weekend!

Seaworld San Diego

Memorial Day weekend Mark and I headed south to see "my" dolphins. I hadn't been down there since August, which quite frankly is ENTIRELY too long. 

It was also my first trip to SeaWorld with my very own Nikon D70.

Our first stop was Atlantis, which at 10:00 was a five minute wait.

Then it was off to the Wild Arctic. The beluga whale posing for his picture.

Polar bear in the water... he was having a great time!

Then it was my favorite time... DOLPHINS!!!!!

Of course, I had to go to more than one dolphin show... it was a fun Saturday even though we didn't make it to the Shamu day time show.  I'm thinking that I will head South on vacation in July.  Maybe spend the 4th of July there.  They always do a great Fireworks show.  Maybe by then I'll have the setting figured out for fireworks!
