Winner!!!

Yesterday marked the conclusion of the summer bowling league for Mark. It was a good season with him being matched up with an excellent partner. Edmund was not only a good bowler but a good personality for Mark.

They ended up winning their division.  They also had the Team High Series Handicap for their division.  Mark also received second place for most improved by improving his average by 3 pins over the course of the league.  He did a good job over all.

Final Night of KYL Track

The final of the track was held at Citrus College.  It was fun.  Though Mark only placed in one competition, the 50 yard dash.  But it still had fun, at least I think so.

The first event Mark participated in was called the heavy ball throw.  He ended up taking 3rd place.

The next event was the 50 yard hurdles.  He placed 3rd in his heat and was in the finals.
It was great!  I’m trying to take pictures of him and all around I hear Tar heels parents yelling for Mark.

KYL Track Meet – Monday night

Each August Kare Youth League has a track meet for the kids.  It’s great fun!  They divide the kids from the different divisions into groups to compete against each other. There are 5 events each night and a child can only win 2 ribbons per night.  So when they win 2 ribbons they get to home.

Monday night Mark won 2 in the high jump.

Mark didn’t participate in the second competition because he wanted to save himself for the long jump! Unfortunately he didn’t do well on the long jump. So then it was off to the 440 yard run.
