A Rose By Any Other Name…

Last Sunday Mark was a case study for Aubree, so we met at the university.  So, I took my camera and went to find something to take pictures.  I wanted to play with different the settings.  So I found this very pretty rose in the Rose Garden.  I had a lot of fun with different settings and got some very different effects.

Why mornings are bad...

This morning I tried to train the university's provost. The keyword is tried! The problem is neither one of us do mornings very well. And this morning at 8:30 trying to play with his tablet was pretty pointless. Especially since I don't have one (yet) and it's been over a month since I played with one.

Needless to other than being able to hassle (not harass hassle) one another (which is always a good time) it wasn't a productive time.

As alway Mike was gracious, in the way that only Mike can be!

Football part 2

So... Mark did raise his hand when coach asked if people wanted to play more. So Mark did play more. He didn't do anything outstanding but he tried hard. He stayed focused while he was in there.

They ended up winning 22-20.  It was a good game and it was nice to beat the Seminoles!

Football at night

Not all that different than football at day. I'm just more tired and I can't get very good pictures. I didn't bring my camera.  Just the phone.

Mark only played two plays in the first half. Kinda frustrating but when the coach ask if anyone thinks they're not getting enough playing time he sits there and says nothing.

Oh well... He must have been switched at birth.

Commerative lego bricks

One of my favorite things about Legoland is the commerative bricks. Here is the wall I've been building over the past few years. Hopefully I'll be able to get a couple more during brick or treat for Halloween!

More photo phun...

Meet Dante and his pet gecko. I'm sure she has a name but I can't remember it. I'm sure Dante will enlighten us.

There are many things one can say about Dante but I won't put those here. (smile)

Happy Friday!

Photo phun

I love my new phone! No, it doesn't have all the cool features that the iphone has, but I am still having loads of fun. (and the apps will come... I hope)

Anyway here are 4 of my favorite people as we ride back from west campus on the trolley. Let's just say good times for all!

It's kinda impressive how good the picture is condering the trolley is far from a smooth ride, kinda reminds me of the dirt roads in Oklahoma on a school bus.

Follow up to the Earlier Post

Few days ago posted the black and white picture of the “Scream” then forgot to follow up with what was going on.

The item between the stars is one of two kidney stones that live inside my right kidney. One is 7mm and the other is 8 mm.

The beautiful thing is there is no way to know whether they will stay where they are or whether they will move and be a major problem.

So now I guess we know where Tim gets his problems.

Broccoli anyone?

I'm not sure why but when I saw these little broccoli plants I decided to try growing it. They are doing very well. Not sure what they will look like when they are ready... I guess I'll find out.

Just Too Fun Not to Share

This would normally go on my “Email” blog, but these are just too cool not to share here!

A Public Toilet in Houston

Now the inside:

It uses one way glass.  Not sure I would still be able to do my ‘business"’
Then again, I’m not sure I could step into this bathroom either:

Of course, I think every smoker’s lounge should have this painted on the ceiling:
